EN 1.4006 stainless steel bar is magnetic in both the annealed and hardened conditions. EN 1.4006 stainless steel bar can be fully annealed in the temperature range of 815°C to 900°C and requires slow furnace and air cooling. Process annealing of SS 410 can be performed in the temperature range of 650 °C to 760 °C followed by air cooling. EN 1.4006 stainless steel bar has good scaling resistance up to 650 °C. It is suitable for the manufacture of oil and gas extraction equipment, compressors and other equipment components.
